Comet 2009 P1 Garradd

Here's a Comet for the late Summer and Autumn of 2011, expected to peak around mag 6 in January 2012. The comet was discovered on 13th August 2009 at Siding Spring Observatory in Australia by GJ Garradd when it was at mag 17.5. As of August 2011 it is at mag 8 and is expected to peak at mag 6 in January 2012, after which it will fade away. Note: "up" arrow returns to previous page!
